About This Competition
The AFTER THE PALACE: Resonance Video Mapping Contest invites artists, animators, motion designers and creative collectives worldwide to create original projection works responding to Nowa Huta’s industrial heritage and the former Lenin Steelworks administrative complex in Kraków, Poland. Entry is free and international. The extended submission deadline is 5 November 2026 at 23:59 CET. Awards are PLN 10,000 for first place, PLN 6,000 for second and PLN 3,000 for third. Selected works will be projected in the courtyard of Building Z at the New Administrative Centre on 23 November 2026 during the 34th Audio Art Festival. To apply, review the organizer’s rules, technical mapping template and license documents, complete the online application form and include a downloadable link to the proposed work. This is a video mapping and public media art competition, not a general painting contest.
