About This Competition

My Competitions

The Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises (ILCF), part of Université Catholique de Lyon in France, invites its current and former students to enter Lyon Through Your Eyes, a photography contest about personal experiences of Lyon’s streets, landmarks and atmosphere. Entries are free and close on Friday 13 November 2026 at 18:00 local time. Each eligible participant may email up to two original JPEG photographs to animationilcf@univ-catholyon.fr. For each image, include a title in French, a French description of two to five lines explaining the choice, the date of capture, and the completed entry form. Photographs should ideally be at least 3,000 pixels on the longest side and must not include watermarks, borders or overlaid text. Entirely AI-generated images are not permitted; obtain written consent from identifiable people, and from guardians for identifiable minors. Prizes include dinner for two, a five-ticket Pathé cinema pass and a Mission Culture prize. Selected images may be displayed on the university campus. This competition is restricted to ILCF students and alumni, not all residents of Lyon. Official rules and entry form: https://www.ilcf.net/en/events/ilcf-2026-photography-contest/ .
