About This Competition
The Siena International Photo Awards 2027 (SIPA) are accepting photographs from professional and amateur photographers worldwide. The contest opened 11 October 2026 and closes 7 January 2027. Ten categories cover journeys and adventures, faces, nature, animals, sport, storytelling, documentary and photojournalism, street photography, underwater life and short documentary films. The first photograph is free to submit. The organizer’s published fee schedule lists €30 for a bundle of three images including the free one, €10 per additional image and €35 for Story-Telling or video entries; verify current rates on the application portal. Awards include the Pangea trophy, photography equipment for the Photographer of the Year and exhibition/publication opportunities during the Siena Awards Festival. Entries must be original photographs; AI-generated images are not permitted.
