About This Competition
Der Greif, an independent photography platform based in Germany, invites photographers and lens-based artists to its Pulse online exhibition The Family: Lineage, Choice, and the Album. Entries close 16 November 2026 at 23:59 CET according to the organizer. The theme explores family ties, chosen communities, heritage, memories and what is included or excluded from family albums. The call welcomes work that challenges conventional family portraits, including personal and conceptual approaches. The listing service ArtConnect describes entry as free with an optional €5–€10 donation; applicants should confirm the current payment options on the organizer’s submission page. Selected projects appear in Der Greif’s online exhibition and receive visibility, not a guaranteed cash prize. Consult the organizer’s open calls and submission requirements at https://dergreif.org/open-call/ and independent opportunity listing https://www.artconnect.com/opportunity/hPSsVivr15atzFwXZssu7 .
