About This Competition
About this opportunity
The Ingvild and Stephan Goetz Art Foundation, Sammlung Goetz and Academy of Fine Arts Munich offer a €5,000 production award and exhibition at AkademieGalerie for an unrealized media artwork. This opportunity is NOT open to all German or international artists: only students nearing graduation from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and alumni who graduated within the previous two years qualify. Applications are submitted digitally by 20 November 2026. The €5,000 covers production and artist fees; additional funding is not allowed. Applicants submit a concise concept, project budget, schedule, CV and portfolio. The completed artwork becomes part of the foundation’s collection.

Requirements and how to enter
Send by email to medienkunstpreis@sammlung-goetz.de a concept for an unrealized film, video or installation project, project description max two manuscript pages, budget up to EUR 5000, production timetable, CV and portfolio. No outside funding. Complete work by July 2027; winning work enters the foundation’s collection. Entry free according to ArtConnect and findyour.art.
